Vietnam

Despite these positives, the country has many restrictions, especially on prostitution, gambling, drugs, sex toys, and anything depicting obscene behavior. However, there are underground sex shops selling sex toys. According to inside reports, the business has been booming for almost a decade now. Most people in Thailand venture into the sex toy business because of poverty, and although the government maintains its stance on sex toys, most people are growing accustomed to it. 

United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates, a country in the gulf, states that it is illegal to bring sex toys into the country. This country, which consists of seven states, also restricts many erotica materials such as magazines, books, and videos. You can purchase condoms in supermarkets without any issues. However, some grocery shops sell vibrating cock rings behind the counter. When found with sex toys, they are confiscated. However, this does not come without confrontations that can escalate to a scene at the airport. 

India

Most habitats believe that sex toys are banned in India because there is no public display of these toys in stores. You cannot display sex toys in India because there are strict restrictions on displaying obscene material. The Indian law respects and upholds the privacy of its citizens, meaning that no one will bash you for turning to sex toys for pleasure. Most drug stores in India sell sex toys such as lubricants and cock rings. Such toys cannot be banned because they have discreet packaging that does not violate obscenity laws.

Maldives

According to Kundur (2012), the Maldives is a popular vacation destination for people worldwide, especially Britons. However, one cannot carry prohibited items, including explosives, sex toys, and weapons. These items are completely banned, and things like sex toys are categorized under pornographic material. Erotica material like films, videos, and other related software are also banned. If you are a tourist looking to tour the Maldives, do not carry your sex toy because it will be confiscated, and in extreme cases, your journey may be delayed. These items are banned because most inhabitants of Maldives are Muslims. 

Malaysia

Many people looking forward to visiting the country ask about the legality of owning a sex toy in Malaysia. Although people may not be open to talking about sex toys openly, no one law places sex toys under banned items that cannot thrive in the country. However, their constitution claims that owning an obscene object may earn you a jail term of three years. Obscene objects, in this case, are items that may corrupt the masses' minds, and unfortunately, sex toys fall under this bracket.
